• After almost 24 hours of journey I arrived home late last night. I feel almost perfect and Susann and me have really enjoyed the relaxing days in Marari, even if I am still a little unhappy that I have missed the for me most interesting landscapes (beach and coconut palms look the same to me anywhere in tropical areas... but for Susann it was the first time) :-) I would have liked to stay a week longer in Kerala. So Susann and I decided to come again next year and than hopefully I can visit the tee plantations and another national park in the mountains. (And the tiger, of course!!!!) But at the moment Folkert is very happy to see me at home again, he has put my favorite flowers in a vase bought delicious cakes and I had to tell everything about our trip. We just have finished to watch all the photos. He would love to meet you but he says that he would not come to India - too hot for him. So you really have to come one day! Since this morning I have had many calls from my and Folkerts family and now I am having some quiet moments. Folkert is writing two articles for his magazine but at least he can do this at home on Sunday. I hope that your flight to Germany was comfortable and that you are enjoying to see your friends. Are you already in Berlin preparing the ITB? I wish it to be a great success for you. Please send my best wishes to Rajeev and his wife! Please let me know if you need my help during your stay or later, I could even call a Taxi for you in Berlin when I exactly know where you are.   Hello George It has been long time since we have exchange our thoughts, I hope you remember me (Kavita:).  How is everything hope you are in good health and doing well.  I know I don't get chance to send you mail frequently but always remember you.  I have given your reference to lots of families here in USA Seattle area and they have taken the tour under your guidance and everyone came back with the smiley face and they all loved the trip as per our experience.  Just wanted to let you know that thanks for your good service to everyone and they all had good experience as we did.  You should visit us here in Seattle and Raj and me will host you and will be your personal guide :)

  One of our friend just did the Kerala tour with you a month ago and I wanted you to read his experience:  

  Raj-ji,

  Just wanted to say you thank you for recommending travel agent and giving all the information about Kerala. Last month we came back from our India vacation and Kerala trip was just awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of that. Your travel story helped us lot. One example, Our driver did not know about the guided tea garden hike, so I had to tell him to contact his office as they did arrange in past. The driver found out the contact, called the guide, we went for the hike and it was really a memorable hike. If I would not have that information, there was no chance that we would have gone for that hike.

  The travel agent also delivered everything as promised. It was a very good experience.

   I don't know if you remember them or not they live here in Seattle and our good friend so we refer them to you and they had good time so I wanted to really thank you very much.  George there is one more family would like to tour Kerala and coming for the first time was wondering if Oct or Nov will be good weather or not please let us know so he can make the plan.    Hope to hear from you soon.  Please let me know if I can do anything else for you from here.   Dear George,

  sorry for having you waiting so long, that was no intention.

  During christmas season last month and within the last weeks at my now job, I've told many people about our India vacation, and we have really amazing memories about this.

  So to sum it up:

   

  In November, my girl-friend (36) and I (29) were on a wonderful trip through Kerala.

  We were very late on time with our planning, the whole country is huge and the best places are not easy to reach and hidden anyway. So we needed professional help! I contacted George from Kerala voyages via mail with a rough idea on what we wanted to do there, and our tough time restrictions. Just half a day later, we got a 6-page travel itinerary proposal which included exactly all our preferences. I contacted George afterwards several times about some details via phone or mail, and he was always very friendly and helpful.

  Our tour may not have been the cheapest one, but we definitely experienced top quality. (Worth it!) 

  Our tour reached from Mysore (cause I was working in Bangalore) to Kochi.

  We had plenty of highlights:

  1. A stay at the Kabini river with both safaris and a very relaxed feeling...
  2. A night on a real house tree surrounded with all green trees and plants, and with monkeys climbing on top of the house while we were sleeping...
  3. A whole day and night on a house boat, having a wonderful view from the river, and enjoying a fish meal straight from a fish from that river...
  4. And really lots of very good Indian food, which we miss now back at home. (Luckily there are some Indian restaurants here.)
