The Anjuna Beach

The Anjuna Beach is rightly referred to as the Freak Capital of the World and happens to be one of the most popular beaches in the Beach Capital of India Goa. The swaying coconut palms and the soft white sand add to the holiday mood on the shore of the Arabian Sea. Take a plunge into swimming the most relaxing water activity that can be pursued at the Anjuna Beach. It is safe as the sea is calm. Sun bathing is the most favored activity of the sun starved European tourists. The more adventurous of you may even try out bungee jumping.

Anjuna village that houses the beautiful beach is well connected with the rest of the places. The Dabolim airport is the nearest at a distance of 47 Kms. The Karmali railway station takes care of the tourists who travel by train.
 
Bogmalo Beach

The Bogmalo Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the Beach Capital of India Goa. In fact the blue waters are so clean that is hard to keep away from it for long. The Sun bathing is the most favored activity of the sun starved tourists especially Europeans. The beach unlike the other beaches in Goa is not very crowded. The red brick huts add color to the green coconut canopies. The most picture perfect spot at the Bogmalo beach is at the end of the cove.  

One may indulge into the amazing array of the water sports that are offered at the Bogmalo beach. Surfing and parasailing are amongst the must checkouts. Near the Bogmalo beach is the must visit tourist destination of the Naval Aviation Museum. This museum will give you a better insight into the Indian Navy. Colva & Benaulim Beaches


The Colva and the Benaulim Beaches happen to be amongst the most popular beaches in the Beach Capital of India Goa. The white powdery sand on the shores of the Arabian Sea along with the swaying palms and the sensuous sun creates the picture perfect holiday spot. The beaches are at a mere distance of two kilometers and make excellent holiday destinations. The bullfight at the Benaulim beach is a major draw from early October till late May in the evenings. In the old rice fields with the Konkani music in the background the bullfights are a must watch. The Beach Bonanza fair is another must check out for all the tourists. Calangute Beach

The Calangute Beach is aptly referred to as the queen of the beaches and happens to be one of the most popular beaches in the Beach Capital of India Goa. The swaying palm tress and the picturesque saltpans add to the beauty of nature on the shores of the Arabian Sea.

Besides enjoying the nature at its best at the Calangute beach you may even check out the Church of St Alex. The captivating parish church is a major tourist attraction. The Landmark comprises of terrific towers, dome and ornate altars. The style of architecture of the church will sweep you off your feet.
   
 

Vagator & Chapora Beaches


The Vagator and the Chapora Beaches happen to be amongst the most popular beaches in the Beach Capital of India Goa. The beauty of Vagator and Chapora lies in their beaches, the wondrous white sands, black lava rocks, swaying palms and the gorgeous greens. Besides enjoying the nature at its best at the Chapora beach you may even check out the Chapora Fort. The Portuguese fort that was built 500 years ago is now a landmark. The investment of climbing the lava-bedecked black rock stepping-stones returns the soothing sights of the sea and hills covered with coconut trees and rice fields to the tourists.
