Ayurveda Holidays
Ayurveda is the "science of living," a health science from India which has existed for over 3,000 years. According to Ayurveda, each person and his or her health problem is unique, requiring an individually tailored treatment program. Modalities include food, lifestyle/daily routine, herbal formulas, cleansing procedures, as well as yoga and meditation. At Keralavoyages, we promote the traditional methods of healing from India, to educate the public about beneficial lifestyle and food alternatives, and to assist clients with challenging health problems. The word AYUR literally means ' life ' and VEDA means ' the science of knowledge '. Ayurveda briefly explains the knowledge of the do's and dont's one has to follow, which flavours the well being of each individual to lead a healthy, happy, comfortable and advantageous life both physically, mentally and socially.

Kerala has a special type of Ayurvedic treatment. Though the texts of lessons studied are the same the system of treatment is entirely different and far more effective as well. These special Kerala treatments include Pizhichil (oil bath), Ilakizhi (leaf bundle massage), Navarkizhi (rice bundle massage) etc. which are widely and effectively used in the rheumatic astringent, paralysis, facial palsy, motorneuron disease, ankylosing spondylitis, acute infective polyneuritis, various spinal problems, gastric or peptic ulcers etc

Kerala Voyage's special ayurveda pacakge is designed for todays generation to feel good and healthy
